Our Story
Hi, I’m Lashawna — a follower of Christ, a wife, and a mother of five.
For years, I struggled quietly in the very areas that now shape everything behind The Stewarded Life: faith, family, health, and finances. From the outside, life may have looked normal, but internally I often felt overwhelmed, inconsistent, discouraged, and unsure of how to truly honor God in every area of my life.
What I’ve come to realize is this:
God was not just changing my circumstances — He was transforming my stewardship.
The Stewarded Life was not built overnight. It was cultivated in me through years of conviction, refinement, failure, prayer, growth, surrender, and grace. Long before it became a brand, a devotional, or a budget system, it was something God was doing inside my own heart.
He was teaching me what it means to live a life where Jesus is truly at the center of everything.
Not just Sunday mornings.
Not just certain categories of life.
But every area.
Faith First.
Family Strong.
Body Honored.
Finances Ordered.
That became more than a tagline.
It became the direction God was leading our family.
Faith First
One of my greatest struggles was not necessarily whether God existed — it was truly seeking Him for myself.
For a long time, my faith was built more on what I heard from others than on a personal, intimate relationship with Christ. I knew about God, but I had not fully slowed down enough to know Him deeply for myself through His Word, prayer, surrender, and daily dependence.
Over the years, God began drawing me closer to Him personally. He showed me that real transformation doesn’t come from religious routines or motivational messages — it comes from abiding in Jesus daily.
That is what eventually gave birth to The Stewarded Life Devotionals.
In February 2026, those devotionals began to be birthed from a deep desire to help people slow down, seek God consistently, and invite Christ into every part of their everyday lives. These devotionals were created not as “self-help” tools, but as Christ-centered discipleship resources designed to help people grow in intimacy with Jesus while stewarding the life He has entrusted to them.
Family Strong
God also began transforming our family life.
I struggled with knowing how to properly handle difficult situations within the home. Too often I responded with frustration, impatience, raised voices, or emotional reactions instead of grace, wisdom, gentleness, and intentional leadership.
I wanted our home to reflect Christ, but I didn’t always know how to practically create that kind of environment.
God began teaching me that strong families are not built accidentally — they are built intentionally, daily, and with Christ at the center.
One of the ways this transformation started taking shape in our home was through what we now call “Family Time with Jesus.”
As a family, we wrote four simple prompts on pieces of paper:
- Pray Together
- Read the Bible Together
- Worship Together
- Words of Encouragement
Each day, one of our children pulls a paper from the bowl, and that becomes the way we intentionally invite God into our family that day.
It’s simple.
It’s imperfect.
But it has become deeply meaningful for our family.
Because discipleship is not just something that happens in church — it begins in the home.
Body Honored
My health journey was another area of struggle.
For years, I listened to too many opinions, followed too many trends, and constantly started and stopped. I viewed health and fitness through a worldly lens — focusing mostly on appearance rather than stewardship.
I struggled with consistency because my motivation was rooted in image instead of purpose.
God began shifting my perspective completely.
He taught me that honoring my body is not about obsession, comparison, perfection, or chasing culture’s standards. It is about recognizing that our bodies are gifts from God and temples of the Holy Spirit that should be cared for with wisdom, discipline, gratitude, and balance.
That shift changed everything.
Health and fitness stopped becoming punishment and started becoming stewardship.
Finances Ordered
Our financial journey has also been one of the biggest areas of growth and conviction.
For years, we found ourselves stuck in cycles:
Getting out of debt…
Then falling back into it.
Spending carelessly…
Without a real plan for our money.
Trying to improve financially…
But lacking structure, discipline, and biblical stewardship.
Even after making progress, we often found ourselves repeating the same patterns because we never truly learned how to steward money God’s way.
Then in April 2026, God gave me a powerful revelation about stewardship and finances that eventually became The Stewarded Life Budget System.
This system was not created from theory alone — it was birthed from conviction, prayer, personal struggle, biblical principles, and the desire to finally build a sustainable system that aligned our finances with our faith.
Today, we are actively using this exact system in our own lives to:
- Get out of debt
- Build financial discipline
- Budget intentionally
- Steward our resources wisely
- Create financial stability
- Increase our ability to give
- Become faithful stewards of what God entrusts to us
Not for selfish ambition.
Not to chase prosperity.
But to become a family that can be trusted with more for God’s glory and used as vessels to help advance His Kingdom.
Why I Created These Digital Products
The Stewarded Life was created because I know what it feels like to want change but not know where to begin.
I know what it feels like to love God but struggle with consistency.
To want peace in your home but not know how to create it.
To want better health but feel overwhelmed.
To want financial freedom but continue repeating unhealthy cycles.
These products were created from lived experience, biblical conviction, and a genuine desire to help others steward their lives through a Christ-centered lens.
Everything I create is designed to help people practically invite Jesus into their everyday lives — not just spiritually, but relationally, physically, emotionally, and financially.
Because true transformation happens when Christ becomes the center of every area.
Our Mission
At The Stewarded Life, our mission is simple:
To help people steward their faith, family, health, and finances in a way that honors God and reflects Christ.
This is not about perfection.
This is about surrender.
Daily stewardship.
Daily obedience.
Daily transformation through Jesus.
And if you’re here, my prayer is that these resources help encourage, equip, and strengthen you as you pursue a life fully centered on Christ.
Welcome to The Stewarded Life.
